E-Waste Disposal
PC Service Depot (PCSD) is committed to ensuring that end-of-life electronics (EOLE) collected through its program
are recycled in a manner that protects the environment as well as worker health and safety.
PCSD only works with recyclers who have been audited and approved under the national Recycler Qualification Program (RQP),
which is designed by the electronics industry to ensure that EOLEs are managed in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
Consumers can responsibly recycle their end-of-life electronics FREE OF CHARGE, simply by bringing their old or unwanted
products to PCSD.
Maintaining and repairing devices dramatically improves their usable lifespan.
If we worked together and doubled the length of time the average piece of electronics was used,
we could halve the amount of e-waste created. If we take care of our devices and fix them when they break, we can do a lot better than that.
